Hello and welcome.

The decision to pursue therapy and work towards healing and transformation is an important achievement. I am glad that you are here.

I support individuals as they navigate grief and loss experiences. I specialize in working with those that have had a loved one die as a result of substance use disorders. Loss changes us, and it requires kindness and patience to embrace the new versions of ourselves. Grief is not a linear process, and although, there is no right or wrong way to grieve, it is helpful to have guidance to validate and normalize your experiences.

It is important to understand that loss does not automatically equate with death. Significant life transitions often include the loss of something. Whether it is a shift in identity, the end of a relationship, change in health/independence, or in today's world, the loss of a sense of safety and normalcy; these are all non-death losses and may cause grief reactions.

In addition to grief and loss, I also support new moms struggling with postpartum experiences, those who are encountering compassion fatigue or burnout in their careers, caregivers, and families that love someone with a substance use disorder.

Regardless of what brings you here, you are welcome.
